The Bolivian salt flats. We were planning our delayed honeymoon to New Zealand and the South Pacific, but now I kind of want to go to Salar and Chile, hopefully making it down to Patagonia.

The only thing is, going to South America is not really a "honeymoon" type of trip.

And I am a little bit afraid to go after reading this in one of the trip advisor forums.

Life threatening accidents seem to be the norm rather than the exception. This place is described as being not for the faint of heart... its not comfortable, the temperature is unbearably cold, but it is totally worth it.

I think we can find a safe tour company. I still want to go.

style hunter

it be rain week here in the n.y. cizzle. hunter wellies are everywhere. and because my target leopard print rain boots are in the d.c.izzle I decided that I need some new ones. hunters. most people seem to have green ones which are nice but didn't really appeal to me. then i spotted some baby powder blue ones on the street. which immediately became a must have. i had to resist the temptation to follow the girl wearing them.

what makes hunters seem so long and tall? it must look that way from afar. because i tried them on yesterday at bloomie's and they still looked kinda loose and flabby. but still a bit taller than regular rain boots.

my MoMA membership expired this past may, and ever since I have been resisting the urge to re-join. I am mad at them for not delivering my christmas presents on time. and I don't know how much longer i'll be here. but its been hard because 1. I miss the moma cafe's three cheese sandwich with apricot shallot mostarda and olives. and now, 2. they are having a sale. on the daedalus lamp.

which I have been coveting for about 2 years now. I'm not ready to buy this yet but since its on sale I'm assuming its getting moved out of their inventory.

being a member is not a pre-req to purchasing but if i'm going to do the moma might as well do it all the way. what to do...

And hopefully some day lead to the creation of an etsy shop and/or further develop my creative interests as I currently live in a world of un-creativity and legalese. I like running, sewing (not really but I like the thought process and finished product), making jewelry (same), planning themed parties, fashion, fresh organic local food, weddings (currently trying to get over this addiction), outrageously overpriced work out clothes that make you feel good (can I get a "lululemon"), pilates plus (not regular pilates but pilates plus), cheese, travel, summer in the city, swimming in the pool with my brand new husband, reading a good book, modern furniture, dishes, and housewares, sugar, cotton candy and sweets, anything related to the MoMA, and many other things, soon to be posted on this blog.
